David started out on the Assembly line at Ford Motor
company at 18, and was selected in 1997 to enter the
Skilled Trades Apprenticeship Program as an Industrial
Electrician. In 2005 he was chosen to become the Skilled
Trades Overtime Coordinator where he managed overtime
and labor cost issues for more than 300 skilled Ford
tradesmen. David is a Georgia-licensed auctioneer, a
certified commercial Georgia Realtor, and a Dean's list
student at Mercer University. David belongs to the Henry
County Chamber of Commerce, Henry County's Council
for Quality Growth, and is a member of Leadership
Henry's Class of 2007. |
PERSONAL

David Curry grew up in Henry County and appreciates
the strength of our community. Dave and Elizabeth
"Nicole" Echols were married on December 18, 1993, and
have been blessed with four children: Michaela (12),
Jacob (10), Kennedy (8), and Caleb (6).
He and his family are active Members of the
Timberridge Presbyterian Church, volunteers with
Connecting Henry Christmas Program, and volunteers
with Henry County's Meals-on-Wheels. David made a
decision years ago to invest his time and efforts in
making sure that his children can grow up in the same
type of safe and thriving community he enjoyed. |
